TalkSyra is a location-based discovery app. We collect and process your GPS location data to:

• Calculate distances between you and other users

Important: You can enable or disable location tracking in your device settings at any time. TalkSyra will not function without location permissions, but the choice remains with you.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process (via Supabase & Google)
• To enable user-to-user discovery and matching based on location and preferences
• To manage user profiles and display them to other users
• To facilitate communication through our real-time chat feature
• To provide Premium features (unlocked via rewarded advertisements)
• To improve our app's functionality and user experience
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect users from harassment (Blocking/Reporting)
• To personalize user experience and recommendations

4. DATA SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We share your data only with the following essential service providers:

• Supabase: For secure database management, real-time chat, and authentication
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): To serve advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads
• Firebase (Google): For sending push notifications regarding new messages and matches
• Google Sign-In: For secure social authentication

5. ADVERTISEMENTS AND COOKIES

TalkSyra uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. These ads help keep the service free for users. AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as Android Advertising ID) to show relevant ads.

By using TalkSyra, you consent to the collection of data by Google for personalized advertising. You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings.

6. USER SAFETY AND MODERATION
