How do I create an account?
Download TalkSyra from Play Store, tap Sign Up, and use Google Sign-In or Email. Verify your identity and you're ready to go!

100% free! Watch short ads to unlock Premium features like Global Mode and Verified-Only Filter for 6 hours.
How do I set up my profile?
Add 3-5 clear photos, write an interesting bio, set your interests, and let your personality shine!

What's the difference between Grid and Swipe View?
Grid: See 2 profiles at once, browse quickly. Swipe: Tinder-style cards with full details, swipe left/right.
What does the LIVE badge mean?
Green LIVE badge means the person is online RIGHT NOW! Perfect for real-time connections.
Can I send photos in chat?
Yes! Share single photos or your entire curated photo album instantly. Media uploads are instant!
What does Premium Pass unlock?
Global Mode (worldwide matching), Online-Only Filter, Verified-Only Filter, Typing Indicators, and Read Receipts!
Safety & Privacy
Is my data safe on TalkSyra?
Yes! Military-grade encryption, Supabase security, verified profiles, and 24/7 safety monitoring keep you protected.
Who can see my location?
Only distance info is shown to others (e.g., "5km away"). Your exact location is never visible.
Can I block someone?
Yes! Tap Block from their profile or chat. They won't see you anymore and can't contact you.
How do I report abuse?
Use the Report button on any profile. Our team investigates all reports within 24 hours.
What do you do about fake accounts?
We verify all profiles and actively remove bots and fake accounts. Only real people here!
Matching & Dating
How does matching work?
Both people must swipe right to match. Once matched, you can chat and get to know each other!
Can I search for specific people?
Browse by location, age, interests, and more. Narrow down to find your perfect match!
Is it safe to meet offline?
Always meet in public first, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts!
Account & Settings
Can I delete my account?
Yes! Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account. All your data will be permanently removed.
Can I pause my profile temporarily?
Yes, go to Settings > Privacy and toggle "Hide Profile". You can reactivate anytime!
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings > Account > Change Password. We never email your password for security.
What age group uses TalkSyra?
18+ only! We verify all users are adults. People range from 18-65, mostly 20-35.
Technical Issues
The app crashes. What do I do?
Try: Update the app, restart your phone, clear cache. Contact support if issue persists!
Does TalkSyra work offline?
Some features (viewing cached profiles) work offline. Chat, matching, and live features need internet.
Why are notifications delayed?
Check: Notifications enabled in settings, app has permission, internet connection active.
